Here is a gilded plaster 1800s era little girl with her IG, Whippet or Greyhound.
The dog is definitely a Sighthound and may be a large IG, a Whippet or a small Greyhound.
In any case she is leaning trustfully against her dog.
The bond between child and dog is beautiful.
Both the little girl and the dog are well proportioned and detailed.
Under the figures is a raised relief pedestal with a floral design in the back.
Measurements are: 4" x 5" x 9.25" H.
There are some signs of wear on the finish.
This figurine was found in an estate sale.
