Item # 5012 - Vintage Postcard England Lonely Whippet

Here is a vintage postcard from England featuring the portrait of a beautiful but sad Whippet. Next to the dog is a show ribbon. Under the portrait is the word, "Lonely". On the back is the following printed message: "Pastel drawing by Mary Browning of Champion Martinsell Wild and Lonely sold in aid of J.R. Whippet Rescue, Reg. Charity No. 326479; Tamarwest Printing & Stationery Ltd. Holsworthy, Devon". Measurements are: 4" x 6". This was made sometime after 1950 and is in excellent condition.
