Item # 7014 - Cookbook for IGs! Collector's Item!! GREAT RECIPES!!!

 Here is some history on this cookbook about to be auctioned: MANY years ago Carol Sumbry and I realized that something would have to be done about IGCA Rescue finances. At the time Rescue barely had a pot to piddle in. Young dogs were occasionally euthanized because their care would have resulted in expensive surgeries and Rescue simply didn't have the money. Fundraising was sporadic and not really meeting the need. Reps were overwhelmed, demoralized and depressed. The final straw was when a large group of IGs in poor condition entered Rescue....and times became REALLY tough.

As one of our early fundraising ventures Carol and I put together a cookbook for ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS called: "Cooking Italian Style". This book contained: Recipes, Health tips and More...with all proceeds benefitting Italian Greyhound Rescue. ITALGREY as always was there with a helping hand, wonderful suggestions, great recipes, moral support and generosity! Some of you old timers may remember those days.

Anyway...here is one of the few remaining copies of: Cooking Italian Style! Here is a quote from the book: "We hope you enjoy this collection of recipes. They were submitted by Italian Greyhound owners from all over the U.S. and have been thoroughly IG taste tested. We tried to keep them simple so you spend less time in the kitchen and more time sharing these tempting treats with your pets. Homemade dog treats make great gifts!"
This is still a TERRIFIC book. I saved a very few copies so that IG owners of today could enjoy these recipes!!! This book has never been used. It is in excellent condition. Your dog will LOVE these recipes!!!
