Item #2005 - Decorator Plate 2 Whippets de Claviere

Here is a porcelain or ceramic octagonal plate. In the center is the portrait of two gorgeous Whippets. The original portrait was painted by Bernard de Claviere in 1891. The plate itself is modern. Along one side of the plate is the word, "FRANCE". Unfortunately light reflections from the camera affected the pix (left). The actual plate is stunning! !
On the back is the craftperson's signature: "Mary Nell". Measurements are: 7.25" x 7.25". This plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is absolutely lovely! Shipping will be handled by Judy Longhouse |
